Jeff Brown, PhD


Dr. Brown is a Lecturer in the Department of Ambulatory Care and Prevention and a health services researcher with expertise in health policy, health economics, pharmacoepidemiology, and outcomes research. His interests include evaluating the clinical, safety, and economic consequences of the adoption and diffusion of new medical technologies. Other research interest included patient-preferences and cost-effectiveness studies. He is responsible for oversight of the research data resources of HMO Research Network (http://www.hmoresearchnetwork.org) Center for Education and Research in Therapeutics (CERT) (http://www.certs.hhs.gov/). His current research is primarily focused on multisite pharmacoepidemiology research using large administrative data systems.
