Katherine Yih, PhD, MPH


Dr Yih is a Lecturer in the Department of Ambulatory Care and Prevention, and is a biologist and epidemiologist with domestic and international experience in immunization and vaccine-preventable disease epidemiology. Her interests include the population dynamics and evolution of pathogens in response to immunization and other disease-control measures. At DACP, she oversees near-real-time surveillance for vaccine adverse events for the national Vaccine Safety Datalink, manages a collaboration evaluating the public health utility of a working model for national syndromic surveillance, and participates in the Models of Infectious Disease Agent Study (MIDAS).
