Tracy Lieu, MD, MPH, is a Professor and is DACP's Director of Faculty Development, as well as Director of the Center for Child Health Care Studies. The Center's goal is to improve children’s health through research that enhances health care decisions by policymakers, clinicians, and parents. Dr. Lieu’s research focuses on primary care delivery, family-centered outcomes, and cost-effectiveness. Her current studies include several projects in vaccine safety, delivery, and economics, and NIH-sponsored studies of asthma medication adherence and of family decision making in high-deductible health plans. She has served on national policymaking committees including the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force and Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. Dr. Lieu is the Children’s Hospital Site Director of the Harvard Pediatric Health Services Research fellowship and practices as a part-time pediatrician with Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates.
