DIRECTIONS TO Pharmaceutical Policy Research Seminars located in the Department of Ambulatory Care and Prevention (DACP) offices.

DACP is located at the Harvard Vanguard Kenmore Health Center at 133 Brookline Avenue, which is located between Fenway Park and the Landmark Center on the perimeter of the Longwood Medical Area. Directions to the office by car or MBTA follow.

The Pharmaceutical Policy Research Seminar is on the 6th floor of the taller HVMA building, which is located on the right when facing the health center from Brookline Avenue. The front entrance to our offices is reached through the entrance marked 3 Fenway Plaza, which is located about 1/2 block to the right of the main entrance. After entering the outer door, take one of the elevators directly ahead to the 6th floor, and you will be outside our reception area. The receptionist will buzz you in.

WALKING DIRECTIONS TO DACP:

From the Longwood Medical Area Walk up Brookline Avenue towards Kenmore Square (Follow the Citgo sign). Once you pass the Landmark Center with the Best Buy, Fenway Movie Theatre and Art Store on your left, you will come to the HVMA building. Use the 2nd entrance marked 3 Fenway Plaza, which opens directly onto the sidewalk.

From Kenmore Square Walk up Brookline Avenue until you come to the HVMA building. Use the 1st entrance marked 3 Fenway Plaza, which opens directly onto the sidewalk.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO DACP:

From the south: From Route 1: Follow Route 1 Northbound until it changes to the Riverway. Take a right onto Brookline Avenue. Follow Brookline Avenue approximately ½ mile through the Longwood Medical Area (Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital will be on your right) to the Park Drive intersection. Stay in the 2 LEFT most lanes to continue along Brookline Avenue after the light. You will pass by the Landmark office complex on your left and a DeAngelo's on your right. The HVMA Fenway Plaza building will be on the left. HVMA and Landmark Parking is available by taking a left at the stoplight. Landmark parking is straight ahead. HVMA parking is the first right and up the ramp.

From the Southeast Expressway/Central Artery: Take the Storrow Drive exit and follow instructions for "from the east" listed below.

From the east: Follow Storrow Drive Westbound to sign marked "Kenmore Square/ Route 1-S" and start bearing left. Stay in left lane of this forked exit and follow signs marked "Riverway/ Route 1-S" past Fenway onto Boylston Street. You will travel through a business area with Howard Johnson's Restaurant/ Motel on your right, continue along Boylston Street passing an Osco Drug on your right, coming up to a DeAngelo's sandwich shop on your right. Stay in the right lane as you approach the stoplight for the Park Drive intersection. Take a SHARP right (just before the stoplight) onto Brookline Avenue. The HVMA Fenway Plaza building will be on the left. HVMA and Landmark Parking is available by taking a left at the stoplight. Landmark Parking is straight ahead; HVMA parking is the first right and up the ramp.

From the north: From Peabody, take Route 128 South to I-93 South, then your choice of: Route I-93, I-95, or Route 1 to the Central Artery. Take Storrow Drive Exit and continue following instructions for "From The East" listed above.

From the west:

FROM MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE

From Storrow Drive: Watch for signs reading "Kenmore Square/Boylston Street Outbound." This exit splits quickly, and take the exit marked "Boylston Street Outbound" halfway up the ramp. Then follow signs reading "Riverway/Route 1-S" through the business area (Boylston Street). You will pass by an Osco Drug on your right, coming up to a DeAngelo's sandwich shop on your right. Stay in the right lane as you approach the stoplight for the Park Drive intersection. Take a SHARP right (just before stoplight) onto Brookline Avenue. The HVMA Fenway Plaza building will be on the left. HVMA and Landmark Parking is available by taking a left at the stoplight. Landmark parking is straight ahead; HVMA parking is the first right and up the ramp.

From Route 9 - (Worcester Street): Route 9 East to Brookline Village, turn left onto Brookline Avenue, and continue through Longwood Medical Area, passing Landmark Building to HVMA, 133 Brookline Avenue.

NOTE: During Red Sox baseball home games, the Fenway/Kenmore area is an extremely congested area with all parking spaces at a premium. You are encouraged to check the Red Sox schedules and plan any meetings accordingly. Another option is to use the MBTA.

From southern points: COMMUTER RAIL: To South Station terminal, transfer to Red Line Subway inbound to Park Street station (entrance to subway is in South Station terminal). Transfer from Red Line at Park Street to Green Line Outbound service (follow signs upstairs). Take the "D RIVERSIDE" train to the FENWAY stop. You will cross the tracks and take the pathway along the backside of the Landmark Building. (Bed, Bath, and Beyond will be on your right). Continue along this path to the HVMA Fenway Plaza facility across the street.

ORANGE LINE (Forest Hills): Orange Line inbound to Downtown Crossing. Use Winter Street Concourse to connect to the Green Line platforms at Park Street. You will need to go under the Lechmere (wrong direction) Green Line tracks to get to the Green Line outbound cars. Take the "D RIVERSIDE" train to the FENWAY stop. You will cross the tracks and take the pathway along the backside of the Landmark Building. (Bed, Bath, and Beyond will be on your right). Continue along this path to the HVMA Fenway Plaza facility across the street.

RED LINE (Braintree/Ashmont): Red Line inbound to Park Street. Transfer from Red Line at Park Street to Green Line Outbound service upstairs. Take the "D RIVERSIDE" train to the FENWAY stop. You will cross the tracks and take the pathway along the backside of the Landmark Building. (Bed, Bath, and Beyond will be on your right). Continue along this path to the HVMA Fenway Plaza facility across the street.

From western points: GREEN LINE (inbound cars): From B (Boston College) and C (Cleveland Circle) cars: exit at the Kenmore T stop. You can walk down Brookline Avenue about ¼ mile to HVMA Fenway Plaza, which will be on your right, or you can take the number 8 bus at Kenmore (upstairs to the busway) and get off at the HVMA stop. From D (Riverside) cars: exit at the Fenway T stop and follow path keeping Landmark Building on your right to the HVMA Fenway Plaza facility. From E (Heath Street) cars: exit at the Arlington T stop, and switch to the opposite track. Board a "D" car to the Fenway T stop. You will cross the tracks and take the pathway along the backside of the Landmark Building. (Bed, Bath, and Beyond will be on your right). Continue along this path to the HVMA Fenway Plaza facility across the street.

From northern points: COMMUTER RAIL: North Station terminal to the Orange Line inbound (Forest Hills). Exit at Downtown Crossing. Use Winter Street concourse to connect to the Green Line platforms at Park Street. You will need to go under the Lechmere (wrong direction) Green Line tracks to get to the Green Line outbound cars. Continue along this path to the HVMA Fenway Plaza facility across the street.

Also, MBTA Bus route numbers 8, 47, CT3, CT2, and 65 all have stops within walking distance of the DACP offices.
